ATTN BUSY BEES: There is a light at the end of the tunnel...

As most of you know, my schedule is so hectic, never having anytime to commit to anything or anyone and sometimes this can be frustrating for college students who work like me. Sometimes its even more frustrating to the people around me because I cannot guarantee I'll be anywhere at any given point in time. So for those of you who think I am blowing you off... I AM NOT! I would love to have lunch with my friends and spend my hard earned money on shopping and fun instead of school books. I would love to have a life except, my schedule is a wreck!!! So for those of you that share my pain, I am hoping to give you some words of inspiration... Let's start with my schedule first..

Mondays: School from 1-1030PM, 11:00- 3:30 or so AM Study Study Study
Tuesdays: My day off that I usually pick a shift up at work, and if not working, I am studying all day.
Wednesdays: School from 1-7:30, study 8- whenever in the AM
Thursdays: Worky work, sometimes doubles
Fridays: Work work work
Saturday WOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKK
Sunday: Worrrrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk USually a double, then study study study

Where in this busy schedule do I have a life?? Well, most of us don't.
When do I sleep? When I can, even if I'm standing up looking awake.
When do I see my family: I do drive by's just to say hi!
When do I eat? I ran into a gas station with a chicken sandwich on Monday... enough said.

People like me... we don't have lives. We're exhausted beyond belief, but that's what keeps us going. I'm a walking zombie and I'm sure there are a lot of you who can relate to this. People often wonder why I am so forgetful and scatter brained: This is why. I really hate to forget the important things, but unless it's written on my forehead, I am most likely going to forget it, even if it is an hour from now. For those of you who are exhausted beyond belief, and are asking yourself is this worth it? The answer is....

YES IT IS!!!

Just remind yourself.... that you are doing this for a reason. Your working so hard, and running yourself into the ground so that you can get an education and a better job so that one day you can do one of two things: Take it easy with a better job or Become a workaholic!!! Just remember, when we work hard, it pays off, because we are all working to get somewhere in life and the amount of work you put in is where you deserve to be. So work it off, live off of the five hour energies, and espressos, sleep when you can, because eventually you'll look back and remember the days when you didn't think that any of it was worth it and you'll say I did it, I finally made it to where I want to be, and look at me now! Your working to make your dreams come true. And if your not: Then Slap your self in the face, wake up, and DO SOMETHING, because you only have one life to live my friends and doing nothing is a waste of that life. Anybody can make that change, it's never too late. So get up and do something to make yourself proud. Live the life of an exhausted college student like I have been for the last SEVEN YEARS (Yes, that's why I am a Van Wilder), and experience the will to want to make things better! You can do it! I only have two more years, because as we all know.... I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE WCCC NURSING PROGRAM!!!! WOOHOO!

Don't Worry, Be Happy!

"Happiness is not a matter of good fortune or worldly possessions.

It's a mental attitude. It comes from appreciating what we have,

Instead of being miserable about what we don't have. It's so simple,

yet so hard for the human mind to comprehend."- Anonymous

I am a happy girl, I am always smiling and spreading the cheer. I live my life believing that everything

you do and want in life depends on yourself. I treat others the way I like to be treated. There is no time in

our short lives, for anything but happiness. I decided to share with you things that make me happy!

1. Family: I absolutely love my family, I couldn't ask for a better one.  They have made me the woman I am today, and there is nothing thicker than blood.

2. My boyfriend, Jesse. He is what makes my world go round, my other half, that takes care of me, and completes me.

3. MOOSE! MY DOG! He is so loyal and my best friend!

4. The sun shining, reminds me that this world is beautiful and that we need to appreciate what God has given us to enjoy!

5.My job: After years of searching for a good one, I enjoy my job and the people I work with, couldn't ask for a better crew of people!

6. Coffee. It's what keeps me going, and going and going and going.

7. Chocolate... All girls must love their chocolate!

8. Going for long walks. I enjoy walking with friends to enjoy the beautiful world around me.

9. Helping others around me: I am a bleeding heart always trying to help anyone I can. I enjoy being a good friend that anyone can count on. I always forgive and forget, we all have our faults, why should anybody be held accountable? (Unless your a cold blooded criminal)

10. Sundresses: So easy to slip on, and accessorize, no girl can have too many dresses!

11. Working hard to get what you deserve!

12. GOD!

13. Painting my nails, I get this from growing up as a child, my Gram always used to say, "Clean hands, clean finger nails, that are filed never chipped polish and dirty finger nails, nothing says sloppy and inappropriate than dirty unfiled fingernails."

14. Being a "Burly" Girl. (I get it from my grandma!)

15. Being messy. I can't help it, my house is always clean, but nothing is more satisfying then walking in and throwing your stuff on the floor! (LOL JESSE HATES THIS!!!!!!)

The list can keep going. Do me a favor today people: Share your love with someone else, make their day good. Whether it's slowing down and letting someone out in traffic, or hugging a friend in need, please make someone else feel good today!!! Life is to short to spread the hate, so let's spread the love! There is only two things I hate in this world: Bill collectors & MEAN PEOPLE! Treat other's the way you like to be treated. Don't be a bully. It's so easy to be mean, so quit taking the easy road and let's be nice!!!! Put a smile on your face and let the happiness take over, because there is always a bigger problem, things can always get worst, and there is always someone less fortunate than you. My mom always says: "If we all put our problems in a bag and shook them up and pulled new ones out, you'd want your own problems back." So let's be thankful for the good in our lives and stand up against the bad and BE HAPPY!!!!

I love you all, spread the word about my blog! And I'd love to share more of my life motto's with you! I hope that today I made someone else smile!

What am I doing??

I have decided to write a blog to share my life adventures. This is a blog about a typical blonde haired, 24 year old, female Van Wilder who is working on getting yet another degree, working herself into the ground, and suffers the usual college student struggle on a daily basis. I am sharing my life and thoughts with you as a hobby, to do something that I enjoy in the little free time that I have. Stay tuned in for my first official blog....
